So now we’re bloggers

I never really thought I’d be a blogger. I didn’t think I had much to say that people wanted to read.  But after we got the diagnosis literally one of the first few thoughts I had was…Are we going to have to blog now? Dealing with the practicalities is one of my coping mechanisms. 🙂 And the answer is obviously no. But we quickly realized (and are humbled by) how many people love us and want to stay aware of what is going on. So now we’re bloggers because it is much easier to have a central place to post information.

We looked for a moment at CaringBridge, and while it is easy and convenient it felt too medical and formatted to me.  And if you know me well you know that I don’t do much “off the rack”. I like to customize everything and generally buy jewelry or clothing I can modify into something I really want.  So, bear with us as we figure out this HTML/blog business. I have added a subscription link at the bottom where you can provide your e-mail for updates. But this will be a work in progress.
